About Eastern Oregon Health & Wellness
Eastern Oregon Health & Wellness (EOHW) is a nonprofit organization established in 2022 with a mission to honor and support individuals facing substance use challenges. We provide compassionate, evidence-based treatment and stable recovery housing to promote healing and long-term wellness. In 2025, EOHW became a proud member of the Behavioral Health Resource Network (BHRN) in Union County, expanding our reach and commitment to accessible, person-centered care.
FAQs
Can I get help the same day I contact EOHW or REACH Outpatient?
Yes! Substance use disorder requires urgency. We offer same-day appointments whenever possible, because waiting can mean losing momentum.
What if I don’t have insurance?
We never want cost to be a barrier. We’ll work with you to find options, including OHP enrollment support and sliding scale payments.
How do I get started?
Call, email, or stop by. Whether you’re ready to enroll or just exploring your options, we’re here to help or just to answer any of your questions.
Can I still work or go to school while in outpatient treatment?
Absolutely. Outpatient treatment is designed to fit your life, not the other way around. We offer flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.
What is Medication-Assisted Treatment?
MAT is a recovery tool. We offer medications like buprenorphine, naltrexone, and Antabuse to support your treatment plan, paired with therapy, peer support, and medical oversight.
Who is eligible for Recovery Housing?
Our recovery housing is open to adults committed to exploring a new way of living, engaging in a recovery program, and contributing to a safe household.
Medication Assisted Treatment
At EOHW, we recognize the urgency of treating opioid use disorder. That’s why we strive to see individuals experiencing withdrawal symptoms within 24 hours of their first contact with us. Prompt access to care can be life-saving, and we’re here to respond when it matters most.

At EOHW, we believe effective treatment starts with what works. Our outpatient services are grounded in evidence-based practices and personalized to reflect each individual’s needs. Rather than a one-size-fits-all model, we meet people where they are, providing care that’s trauma-informed, compassionate, and responsive.

Early Intervention
Online or in-person, this is designated for individuals to process and explore their thoughts. Typically, meetings are weekly or bi-weekly.
Outpatient
Online or in-person, this time will be spent evaluating your physical and mental health to provide medication to alleviate mental health symptoms. This does not include talk therapy.
Intensive Outpatient
Online or in-person, this session will help you with what you care most about and develop a plan to achieve personal and professional goals.
Recovery Housing
In-person only, this session helps alleviate pain and treat various physical, mental, and emotional conditions.
